Alternatively opt to hop across the fairways to enjoy a casual bite in The Clubhouse and a short stroll outside the gates of the grounds take you to The Hunted Hog, our traditional Irish Pub, where a great atmosphere and hearty meals await.

All residents enjoy complimentary access to the Health Club where active types can experience the extensive gym, tennis courts and swimming pool and leisure seekers can relax and take time out on a day bed while taking in the glorious views of the resort’s grounds. As Summertime is truly the start of the glorious golfing weather conditions, golf-loving residents can enjoy time on the Driving Range and our inland Links 18 hole golf course.The Spa is also another exceptional resort experience to be savoured, a special space in which to indulge the senses and unwind the mind. This Summer have all your family break needs taken care of on the resort, with the option of both family rooms and 2 & 3 bedroom residences providing ideal family accommodation. Our luxury Self-Catering Residences make the ideal base for a family break. As well as, two or three bedroomed Orchard Residences, we also offer our three bedroom Gate Houses. Not to forget furry family members, our 2 bedroom Orchard Residences are pet-friendly and with direct access to great walking routes and picnic areas so the whole gang can enjoy the break. These spacious holiday homes provide perfect family flexibility – cook in and enjoy the well equipped kitchen, dining space, outdoor terrace and open plan living areas. Alternatively, dine in one of the 7 restaurant and bars on the resort. Terre, an intimate restaurant situated in the Manor House, is just perfect for a special evening out for grown ups and we are delighted to provide our Kids’ Club for junior guests or, with a little notice, we can arrange babysitting. Canopy Restaurant and Canopy Bar & Brassiere are ideal for a family get together over a delicious meal. Familys are also most welcome to dine in The Clubhouse and to take the short walk to The Hunted Hog, our Traditional Irish Pub on Castlemartyr Main Street, for great local food and welcoming ambiance. With 220 acres of grounds to explore on foot and on two wheels, swimming pool, tennis, golf and spa, there are a host of activities ideal for every family member’s interests however, should you desire to venture beyond the resort walls there are a plethora of ideal attractions and activities on our doorstep for families to enjoy this Summer. For example, Fota House, Arboretum and Gardens is always very special a . Ballymaloe, where great modern Irish Cuisine sits amongst the beautiful Cork countryside, is another great family day out. Enjoy the art gallery, café and woodland walks and you might also come across a new litter of baby piglets amongst the pig herd on your visit. Fota Wildlife Park is located on 100 acres and features Asian lions, Indian Rhinos and Sumatran tigers to name but a few. Its renowned for its amazing work in conservation, education and research. If you have a favourite animal, Fota Wildlife Park is where you will be able to see it, in a habitat designed to promote natural activities.
