There are few more perfect settings for the time-honoured tradition of Afternoon Tea than sitting beneath the magnificent Lafranchini ceiling of Knights in the Manor House, overlooking the formal gardens of Castlemartyr Resort. Indulge in Cork’s Classic Afternoon Tea with vintage-style service within the convivial ambience and elegance of Knights Bar in the Manor House. As regular guests will attest, Knights is one of the Manor House’s architectural gems with its famous Rococo-style Stucco ceiling, floor-to-ceiling sash windows, warming fireplace & beautiful decor. While away an afternoon in the most pleasant of surroundings & enjoy a delicious assortment of dainty savouries, scrumptious scones & petite pastries prepared in our patisserie; all while sipping your favourite piping-hot tea blend or speciality coffee.
Castlemartyr Resort’s Afternoon Tea features:

Delicious dainty finger sandwiches
A selection of tea breads
Miniature pastries and cakes
Freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and preserves

Afternoon Tea is served in the Manor House from 1 pm to 3 pm from Wednesday to Sunday.

Classic Afternoon Tea is €48.00 per person.

For the perfect accompaniment to a leisurely afternoon, add a glass of Champagne to your Afternoon Tea experience.

Champagne Afternoon Tea is €70.00 per person.

Gluten Free Afternoon Tea

Castlemartyr Resort’s gluten-free Afternoon Tea is suitable for those following a gluten-free diet and for guests with coeliac disease and wheat intolerance. Enjoy a delicious selection of freshly made gluten-free sandwiches, gluten-free cakes, and gluten-free pastries.

Please note that as all our Afternoon Tea treats are freshly made in-house each day, please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Children’s Afternoon Tea

As it is never too early to experience the civilised pleasures of Afternoon Tea, junior guests are also invited to partake in the ritual. Share this delightfully tasty experience with little ones who will be thrilled with special treats like personalised cookies, bite-sized sandwiches, milkshakes and hot chocolate. Children enjoy afternoon tea for €25 per child.
