Carriage rides take place within the 220 beautiful acres of grounds that surround Castlemartyr Resort and are a great way to take in the atmosphere of the Estate.
Roy Daly, our Groundsman, has a long connection with the Estate as he is the 4th generation of his family to work at Castlemartyr.
Roy can regale guests with tales about the unique history of the Castlemartyr Estate, as well as pointing out particular points of interest and answering any questions. Please contact us directly for availability and prices.
For our guests who love horse riding, whether it is a beginner lesson or a long trek by the sea you are after we can organise it for you at venues near-by to the hotel.
Derek Schwarz, our fishing expert is available for bookings, whether it’s a day out fishing for Salmon or Trout, or a flycasting lesson at the Resort, Derek will be happy to assist. Please contact us directly for availability and rates.
For our guests who wish to experience more adventure on the Resort, we can organise archery or laser clay pigeon shooting for you on the grounds.
