The Game

Gold Rush is a lively GPS team challenge set on the Mitchel Lawn at Castlemartyr Resort, where teams race to collect exactly 100 gold coins. Using their own phones, players move from one location to the next, completing questions, riddles, and photo and video challenges along the way. The first team to reach 100 coins in the shortest time is the winner.

Objectives

The objective for each team is to accumulate exactly 100 gold pieces. Get over 100 and you will have to purposely lose a few. Teams earn coins by completing tasks, with easier challenges worth fewer points and harder ones worth up to 10 coins. Gold Rush is self-managing, with instant results at the end of the game, and requires only a smartphone or tablet, making it an easy and flexible activity for groups.

 

Versions Available

Gold Rush is suitable for both adults and children aged 10 and over, with a family version available as well as an adult version for private groups, weddings, and corporate events. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The activity works particularly well for team building, celebrations, and group stays, offering a fun and interactive way to enjoy the resort grounds.
