Terre is an intimate, contemporary Two Michelin Star restaurant located in the 17th Century Manor House of Castlemartyr Resort, the ambiance of Terre is luxurious and refined, with elegant décor and the comfort of guests to the fore. Our culinary team bring all they have learned in the world’s finest restaurants to the best larder in Ireland and places umami at the heart of every dish.
Over three and a half hours, guests are invited to relax over an unhurried tasting menu in three different locations. With an open kitchen and dishes finished table side, diners enjoy a dynamic interaction with the people creating their meal. The menu features exotic ingredients, unexpected flavour combinations featuring classic French cuisine with Asian influences, with intricate presentations. Service is impeccable, with staff attuned to anticipate the needs and preferences of each guest.

The culinary team seamlessly blends classical French culinary foundations with bold Southeast Asian influences, utilising local Irish ingredients to create imaginative and memorable dishes. Each member contributes to the evolving tasting menu, ensuring dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, balancing flavors and textures with artistic flair. The kitchen is known for its dedication to zero-waste principles—repurposing ingredients and minimising waste at every stage of the creative process. Throughout the experience, team members engage directly with guests, preparing and finishing dishes tableside, guiding diners through multi-sensory elements and sharing the stories behind each course. The kitchen’s collaborative atmosphere fosters continuous innovation, with team members collectively contributing to new dish concepts and techniques, keeping the menu fresh and exciting. Terre is a modern and immersive dining experience using age-old French cooking methods coupled with an Asian influence. The option of paired wines and teas add to the experience of the tasting menu.
Dinner is presented in Terre on Wednesday – Saturday.
