Indulge in a delectable array of handcrafted pastries, sandwiches and scones, all thoughtfully prepared to capture the essence of the season. Set against the backdrop of our beautifully decorated Knights Bar with its famous Rococo style Stucco ceiling, floor-to-ceiling sash windows, warming fireplace & beautiful decoration, overlooking the formal gardens of Castlemartyr Resort.
Our limited-time Festive Afternoon Tea offers the perfect setting to create unforgettable moments with loved ones from 28th November 2025 to 4th January 2026.
Castlemartyr Resort’s Festive Afternoon Tea features:
- Pot of tea or freshly brewed speciality coffee
- Delicious dainty finger sandwiches including egg and truffle on brioche, spiced beef with mango, and smoked salmon with lemon crème fraîche.
- A selection of tea breads and freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and preserves
- Miniature pastries and cakes such as vanilla and spiced apple choux, orange cream cheese with mulled wine jelly, lemon curd Swiss roll with burnt sugar, chocolate cherry sweet cream with kirsch
Festive Afternoon Tea is served in the Manor House from 1pm to 3pm from Wednesday to Sunday, and is priced at €48.00 per person.
For the perfect accompaniment to a leisurely afternoon, add a glass of Champagne to your Festive Afternoon Tea experience, priced at €70.00 per person.
Festive Gluten Free Afternoon Tea
Castlemartyr Resort’s Gluten Festive Free Afternoon Tea is suitable for gluten-free diets and guests with coeliac disease and wheat intolerance. Enjoy a delicious selection of freshly made gluten-free sandwiches, gluten-free cakes and gluten-free pastries.
Please note that as all our Festive Afternoon Tea treats are made fresh each day in-house, please inform us at the time of booking of any dietary requirements.
Festive Children’s Afternoon Tea
As it is never too early to experience the civilised pleasures of Festive Afternoon Tea, junior guests are also invited to partake in the ritual of Festive Afternoon Tea. Share this delightfully tasty experience with little ones who will be thrilled with special treats like personalised cookies, bite-size sandwiches, milkshakes and hot chocolate. Children enjoy festive afternoon tea for €25 per child.
