Knight's Bar

The Knight’s Bar is elegant, relaxing and enjoys great views of the ornate gardens.

We look forward to welcoming all guests back to Castlemartyr Resort, and while things may be slightly different for now, we ask that you bear with us as we continue to provide a wonderful 5 Star escape for you and your family.

The safety of our guests and our team is of paramount importance at Castlemartyr Resort, with this in mind we continue to implement our ‘Rest Assured’ strategy, designed to ensure that your stay is as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Please note that with this in mind, menus and opening hours are subject to change during our reopening phase. Please note in line with Government COVID-19 guidelines last drinks are served at 11pm and the Knight’s Bar and resident’s lounge must be clear of all patrons by 11:30pm.

  • 09:00-12:00 daily for Coffee & Pastries
  • 12:00-17:00 daily for our Manor House Menu
  • Drinks are served 7 days from 12:00-23:00

It is the ideal choice for a relaxing drink, the bar provides a warm and intimate atmosphere in which to enjoy a pre or post restaurant dinner beverage. As you would expect our bar offers a wide range of drinks to suit all tastes be it whiskeys, fine wines, cocktails and much more.

When the weather is fine you can take pleasure in the terrace with picturesque views over the croquet lawn.

Please note Liquor Licensing Law Ireland;

Children under the age of 15 are permitted in the Knights Bar if they are with a parent or guardian, accompanied children under the age of 15 may remain in the bar between the hours of 11.00am and 9:00pm. After this time Children are permitted only in the Living room.

Children aged 15 and over, but under 18, are allowed in the bar unaccompanied between the hours of 11.00am and 9:00pm. After this time Children are permitted only in the Living room.

Our hotel policy is if management team feels that a child's presence in the bar could reasonably be regarded as harmful to a child's health, safety or welfare, then such a child is not allowed in the Knights Bar, even if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
