Fota Wildlife Park

Fota Wildlife Park has been listed as one of Ireland’s Top Ten visitor attractions (CSO 2010) and is the most popular tourist destination in Cork.  Visitors can see animals feeding and foraging for food while they enjoy a walk around the beautiful surrounds of Fota Island itself. Their specially-constructed Cheetah Run is proving to be particularly popular as crowds can witness the speed and power that makes the Cheetah such an incredible predator in the wild. Though animals are central to everything that happens at Fota, there is plenty more to see and do once you arrive. Children are free to enjoy the play areas dotted around the Park and are invited to take part in the activities organised right throughout the year, including arts & crafts, face painting and African drumming.
