Castlemartyr Resort has been named Resort Hotel of the Year at the  2017 Irish Hospitality Awards!

Castlemartyr Resort has been awarded the prestigious title of ‘Resort Hotel of the Year’ at the inaugural Irish Hospitality Awards that took place on Sunday, 14th May with a black tie event held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Dublin.

Following the enormous success of the Irish Wedding Awards, the Irish Hair & Beauty Awards and the Food Awards Ireland, this year the inaugural Irish Hospitality Awards were introduced celebrating the hard work of the professionals and businesses in the Irish hospitality industry with thousands of nominations received from the Irish public over the last few months.

Attended by prominent hoteliers and hospitality gurus the inaugural Irish Hospitality Awards recognise and commend the efforts and endless work-hours that hospitality industry professionals invest to ensure their customers always receive high-quality service and memorable experiences.

At the glamourous awards held on Sunday night, Castlemartyr Resort received the ‘Resort Hotel of the Year’ accolade, beating off stiff competition from across the country.

The Award was accepted by Brenda Murphy, Director of Sales & Marketing on the night who said ‘We are thrilled that the team’s hard work and commitment has been recognised and we are incredibly proud that the Irish public were behind the votes and rate the resort so highly.  Brenda continued ‘I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the team at Castlemartyr Resort whose hard work and commitment has contributed to this award. We are all honoured to become “Resort Hotel of the Year 2017”.

Numerous prestigious accolades were awarded on Sunday night to the most deserving professionals and establishments in the industry, including categories such as Outdoor Venue of the Year, Boutique Hotel of the Year, Tourist Attraction of the Year and many others.
