To celebrate the unveiling and launch of Heron’s Reach Gate Lodges, General Manager Cathal Lynch and Sales and Marketing Manager, Breffne McKenna welcomed the local community, media to the nine elegantly equipped and beautifully designed gate lodges at the entrance to the luxurious five-star Castlemartyr Resort in East Cork.
Guests on the night included Hazel and Rory O'Connell of Ballymaloe House and Ann Cahill of the Cork Convention Bureau. Throughout the evening guests enjoyed a first look at the newly designed Heron’s Reach Gate Lodges. Set just inside the Estate’s artist-forged, wrought iron gates, beside a serpentine river setting among ancient woodlands, the nine Heron’s Reach Gate Lodges have been specifically designed to do justice to their stunning surroundings with a contemporary design incorporating many natural elements, and with large windows framing the lush woodland views.
With entertainment by The Aristocrats band during the event guests enjoyed Champagne and a section of seasonal canapés prepared by head chef of the Bell Tower Restaurant, Kevin Burke and his team.
Set on the banks of the Kiltha River, the lodges are just a five-minute stroll to the hotel, and form a sophisticated new element to the picturesque 220-acre Castlemartyr Resort, Heron’s Reach Gate Lodges are ideal for corporate short stays, golfing trips, wedding parties and family get-togethers.
